What: Finals are fast approaching, and Brighter Dawns has just the comfort food you need to get through this final stretch! Stop by Usdan between 11am-1pm or 5pm-7pm to order care packages for your friends (or yourself – you deserve a treat too)! The goodies will be delivered to recipients’ WesBoxes during reading period.

What: Habitat for Humanity is helping a single mother and her son move into a new and respectable place. We will be having a van take us (leaving from the OCS parking lot that morning).

Where: Collection boxes outside of Summerfields and Weshop.

What: Give your trash to TerraCycle! For each item sent in, this company will donate money to our chosen charity, the Nature Conservancy, to restore the Gulf Coast.

Please bring your:

  • Empty mechanical pencils
  • Used-up pens
  • Yogurt containers
  • Energy bar wrappers
  • Granola bar wrappers
  • Cookie package wrappers

These items will be turned into great new products, then resold. Check out TerraCycle’s website for more details.

What: Introducing the first ever co-sponsored CHC/ASHA event in concordance with ASHA’s Safe SexFest Luncheon with HIV Educator (Lunch Provided)

Guest Speakers: Enid Healy, HIV Educator, Lunch is provided with RSVP, Bring Your Friends.

Bring your curiosity and questions as well as your appetite! Enid Healey will not only talk about her role as an HIV educator but also be more than willing to answer any questions pertaining to HIV/AIDS, the Oasis Center and much much more.
